Over 40 for me, calculated from motorway driving at 75-80mph to Manchester and back plus a few hours of B road driving and queues. Not bad at all.
1.6 16v mk3 = 28.9 general use...

Well i went down to my Sisters wedding in Feb, did around 410 miles on a tank. Thats with a fully loaded car, and i mean fully loaded. Sat at about 70mph all the way there and back.
37+ mpg.
