Tell us about something seemingly unimportant that you liked today

Virgin Money asked for feedback on their app for banking few weeks back and I was honest about it as it crashes a lot and for no reason.

Had a letter thought today from them apologising and they have sent me £100 for the inconvenience over it all.

Next door arrived home after being away camping. Blocked the road so me and over the road couldn't leave if we wanted to for a good hour or so then watched from afar the difficulty they had putting a caravan on his drive then the campervan next to it. Hanging out of the window watching the fence so he didn't hit it but is MM off it, having to get out the passenger side.

It concreted to us again that they would have just got out onto our drive next to my car with the kids with not one f**k given. Now thanks to their own inconsideration its the best £450 I have ever spent.

If they where considerate and didn't use my property as a playground, damaging my cars etc I'd never have thought about it.

Oh well

Next doors mother in law is utterly terrible at driving. Takes her 6 tries to get on a empty double drive via bouncing off a tree usually. Well her Honda Jazz must have been scrapped as today a new mini electric arrived for her as they are all about electric cars now it seems from his comments

They went for a drive kids in back no seats or belts etc
:@
20 minutes later they arrive home and she goes to reverse onto the drive near the charging point (right next to the new fence I fitted) Drove forward just missing the tree and reversed back............ straight into their garage door with the daughter grabbed the steering wheel
:rolf:

I thought it would be longer before it got damaged but obviously not.

It's made me chuckle so much as the family over from them they compete with got a new car the other day so they have to 1+ them again.

Can we have some pics of this whole driveway/fence situation? I love petty stuff like this when people are taking the **** lol

I shall get some lol

Neighbours who like to keep up with the jones so to speak have done it again.

They have a EV and over from them has now bought one to keep up with the trend of vw camper and ev etc Neighbours went and bought a 2nd EV for the mother who basically lives with them and looks after the kids as they don't bother to do it. Mother shouldn't be driving really as she used to literally bounce the old car she had off the trees trying to get on the drive. She already has hit the garage in the new ev and nearly hit the fence I erected between us.

Any how wife came home in her EV yesterday and today has taken the new one. The only one her mother is insured on so giving her some freedom with a new car has gone out the window  I have a feeling they are leased and they are getting to the mileage limits. They could use the volvo that's sat on the drive but i bet the battery is flat as its sat for a few months now.

No I wont help them :D

Sold an ipod touch that mum used once and never again on ebay end of November and on Xmas day woke to a million messages saying can't be used.

I'd done a factory reset and thought that was enough but it was linked to her account. I removed it and got the account deleted while I was at it. Apologised and thought nothing more.

New Years eve got a message saying wont work still blah blah blah. I just directed them to apple and again nothing more.

Last week got asked for the username and password to the account. Knowing they where deleted and it was pointless gave them over as well not linked to anything and today I got a return request for the item.

This isnt a moan its a wtf -

I had the option and clicked DECLINE its way over 30 days and I gave the reasons I've shown on many occasions in photos its not linked to anything and they need to speak to apple. I'm not a apple care link so I'm not accepting it. 2 seconds later - case closed in my favour. :o

Ok they can leave feedback still but I'm not worried about that as ebay will remove it

Chap I know has had his private plate removed by the DVLA....... On going court case over it so for now he's just bought a new plate

DV14 GAY

aka DVLA Gay

Had a large delivery of soil / compost today and the wagon couldn't get round the corner to me due to idiot neighbours parking their caravan on the drive into the road and also the family they are in constant competition with doing the same with theirs.

Parked the truck on the road and wheeled the pallet truck over to me as its flat. Was just signing for it when another neighbour came over asking if he can move as hes blocking the road. Driver just said that's fine "I'll be 2 minutes as just need a signature then i'll be on my way".

Well the neighbour didn't like this kept banging on about inconveniencing others and moaning etc saying he could have parked the wagon outside my house.

Driver came out with a corking reply

"Sir if you'd like to have a word with neighbours on how they have parked their caravans like idiots and inconvenienced delivery drivers which in tern has now impacted you then please do so as I'd have hit both as the gap is to small now for the wagon. If you had let me get on with getting the signature rather than stood here moaning I'd have been in my truck now and gone, so your now causing the problem. Anything else I can do for you while I'm at it? No? Have a good day then"

Neighbours face was a picture and I was trying not to howl laughing as he got told! He then walked off and when the truck went didn't go for another few minutes :aaargh:

Now to handball 1200 litres of soil to start with.............:help:
