anyone know how to get the radio out, is there any special key needed? and what tools will i have to use?
 
just need a set of radio pins and possible a allen key to remove the grub screws id its got them in the radio pin holes (im guessing your meaning a standard radio)

you could try taking out the MFD unit out. Stick your hand down the back and push it out that way. It sometimes works if the unit isnt screwed in.
 
yeah its just a standard radio with a tape player lol, so do you know where to get these pins?
 
I removed my standard unit a few weeks ago. I removed the grub screws, inserted allen keys in the holes to release the catches and gently levered the unit out with two thin flat bladed screw drivers.
The new cd player I installed had a different aerial connection, so you might need an adaptor if you intend fitting another unit.

yeah my brother just said to me, you can sometimes use the cracker screw drivers them really small ones lol, i'm starting my diary tomorrow as well.

Sound advice there Cliff, I only used allen keys because I "borrowed them" from work. :lol:
 
i used a screw driver, shear anger with swearing, and i think i used some bolt cutters as i tried all of the above and it wouldnt come out and i disliked the radio very muchly it ended in a ritualistic lobbing of it in my garage bin similar to 3 point dunk in basketball
