thing is with the boot jay, the spoilers are a c*nt to take off and will probs damage it and a mint boot is hard to come by with a ph2 gsi spoiler on, and thats a decent price tbh just needs abit of tlc

yeah wayne snapped his i think getting it off, will see what the bodyshop can do with it, just dont want the rust coming back, unless its all cut out but may be more trouble than its worth if i can try find a good boot and get it sprayed if cant find a red one, plenty of time to find one i suppose if i start looking now

its gonna go to a body shop to have the small bubbling sorted on the one arch, suppose i could ask how much it would be to do the boot, but am unsure if its gone beyond it and if i get it repaired properly would the rot come back on where the wiper is??

If you get it repaired properly, ie rot cut out and new metal welded in, it should be fine! Would be much nicer all smoothed but I guess it depends how much you use the rear wiper too, something to think about

i dont use the rear wiper

it would be better smoothed, like i said will have a word with the bodyshop when they do the bubbles on arch unless i find another boot

i said to reno if he wants the v6 before i put it up for sale, apparently its got the 3 litre cams and enlarged throttle body, how true it is i dont know but does go very well indeed

whats the V6 like on fuel guys? kinglee? also im going to need loom, clocks. ecu and ****. depends how much hassle its going to be like. and how would i got about washing the derv tank out and lines? just run petrol through them some how? before connected to engine

jay i got my boot spoiler of ok but it fell on the floor and snapped in 3 bits , so getting it off isn,t a problem , i can do that just need some one to catch it from sliding off and hitting the floor and if you want a boot lid i,ve got one ,it,s white don,t think it got any rust

jay the boots ****ed and you wont get that spoiler off go phase 1 if you ask me

i got mine of with welding wire lol scratched fook out of the boot but it was getting painted any way

I was gonna suggest some strong fishing line an use it like cheese wire, Rads ideas better though

i used a flexable scrapper did the job fine and i didn,t scratsh the boot eigher

no i aint going phase 1, hence putting the phase 2 skirts back on!

and yeah rich but yours has had a respray thats why yours looks clean
