A picture update just for Alex.

Trip to RC today

RC busy welding.

Which after a while resulted in a cheer. The first of the jammed locking nuts was out, But that caused a problem that the nut was not stuck in the removal tool. So Ronnie welded the nut to his home made trolley and spun it out with the rattle gun.

The other jammed nut put up a bit more of a fight. But Ronnie got it out. And suprisingly didnt swear at it once.

So i paid Ron for his services and the arch liners and headed home and got cracking.

But can only put the front two on because im missing two sprigot rings. So fronts are on and made a start on some little marmite mods.

Lego valve caps

Dude those dustcaps / boot sticker is awesome! Just one problem, you cant put your key in! I spose if you have central locking it's okay though :P

All in good time Andy ;)

I do prefer the 17's to the 16s. They set it off well IMO.

But Alex just in case you read this before i fire a PM out, the 16s are staying for a little while longer. But should i sell first refusal to you.

I have cat 1 alarm with RCL, so its all good. I now have some very brightly coloured brake calipers, some nice and clean archs and gsi arch liners fitted. need to buy some smaller push rivits to finish the job off properly. Then i can sand the last of the filler and primer on the bumper down and get it in some proper primer. Which will have to do after ludlow, not rushing it.

Ill get some pics up when i find a phone lead.

Some poor pics of brakes and arches.

Dont like the calipers. Love the colour, just not the way ive painted them, so ill wire wheel them next chance i get and do them with some proper orange caliper paint.

Also need to get my wheels balanced because i lost a wheel weight today :( So theres a job for tomorrow after work, then do a few errands then throw a sponge around before heading over to ludow sunday.

dan those front brake discs are freeking massive

good work Mr H, likeing the work done, im guessin you have a little bump still on the back under the light

im liking that colour dan :)

I got some corsa gsi brakes here you can have cheap mate, discs are grooved, with pads/calipers plenty of meat on them.

Yep its still there. All in good time Dan. When the rear bumper gets sorted it whack the light out and do a bit of filling.

I like the colour too but it always smells like the paint is burning off. And that brake idea was short lived to lol .

After some very long miles the other week ive discovered i have some buckled wheels. So i need some opinions, Ive decided to keep them and have the repaired.

But its not much price difference between getting them straightened than getting them straightened and refrurbished. But do what do we think will look best,

Option 1 .- Refurb as they are Polished edge, with the darker centre

Option 2 - Polished Edge with a silver centre with a very high sparkle.

Open to suggestions too :thumb:
