Astra 1.4 SPI - the first car (56K heavy-ish)

Thought your brother was having this Dan, fair playin on doin the bodywork i so, wouldn't catch me doing Jacks

Fair enough, its a very satisfying job bodywork when you take your time and do it well, if i had the know-how and balls i would sort Jack's rear quarter for him, stop him bleating about it lol

I make you do it anyway

Love the job satisfaction when the paint goes down well and looks mint.

Give jack a slap that would stop him banging on. I really want to learn to weld but can't afford a welder :(

You don tknow how bad the rear quarter is, if stone chips an small dents annoy you then you'd have a heart attack if you owned mine :(

Rivet and fiberglass sheets over is the better option when using repair panels... the welded side cracked, I've tried to repair it again and its a mess really. I would highly recommend Riveting and after using both methods I'm not just saying it for the hell of it (thought weld would have been a proper job but its just turned out turd when the other side hasnt showed any signs of cracking and was a hell of a lot easier to shape).

Primer on the wing yesterday :) Going to paint the wing up and leave it till the weather gets better next year. Then ill spray the the sides.

Ive flatted it down, still needs a bit more as its still a bit lumpy in places where the gun splattered. Ill do that next week then get the basecoat and clear down :)

:(

All the good one's are slowly (actualy quite quickly) disappering :(

Ah no, love this car :(
